Alumnus Mr. Jagdish Sheth Makes Historic Contribution to Loyola Scholarship Funds We are delighted to share that our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Jagdish Sheth (B.Com - Honours, 1955–1960 & PUC), has generously contributed ₹20,00,000/- to the Loyola College Endowment Scholarship Fund and ₹5,00,000/- to the Fr. On January 22, 2026, the Loyola Alumni Association (LAA) presented a cheque of Rs. 16,00,000/~ (Sixteen Lakhs only) to Rev. Dr. Antony Robinson, S.J., Rector; Rev. Dr. D. Thomas Alexander, S.J., Secretary; and Rev. Dr. A. Louis Arockiaraj, S.J., Principal of Loyola College – marking our highest contribution ever from Shop@1925 and Eat@1925!

The Estate of Late Mr. K. A. Narayanan, an alumnus of Loyola College (1945–1949), donated Rs. 30,00,000/- through his Testamentary Will to support the academic activities of the College. The cheque was presented by the Executor, Mr. Viswanath Vaidyanathan, to Rev. Dr. Antony Robinson, S.J., Rector, in the presence of Rev. Dr. D. Thomas Alexander, S.J., Secretary; Rev. Dr. A. Louis Arockiaraj, S.J., Principal; Rev. Dr. A. Louie Albert, S.J., Director; and Mr. J. Balamurugan, Secretary, Loyola Alumni Association. This is the first Testamentary Will to be executed in favour of Loyola College, marking a historic milestone in the institution's legacy of alumni philanthropy.
